I’m Not Just Going to Sit Around Waiting to Die…

So many times in my life, I have dived head first into whatever challenges lied in front of me. Deciding to leave my marriage, starting my own company, completing several Ironman races and then buying and renovating an old farmhouse that was to be our forever home.

But after years of DIY-ing and creating an adventure out of building our home, one day it was complete. And just like that, it felt like our adventure was over…

Little did I know it was just getting started. Listen and follow along as we dive into life’s next adventure.

I am not ready to die yet.

Now that may be a very weird opening line. So, hear me out…

I have always been pretty focused in my life, and I have loved adventure for as long as I can remember. Someone I know recently called me an “adventure junkie” and I scoffed. But sometimes the truth hits hard.

So many times in my life, I have dove head first into whatever challenges have lied in front of me. Deciding to leave my marriage, starting my own company, completing several Ironman races and then buying and renovating an old farmhouse that was to be our forever home.

During the renovation of our farmhouse, we learned how to do everything. When we bought it March of 2020, we were suddenly in a position with little-to-no help due to the shutdowns and lack of availability at the time. So, we took demolition and rebuild into our own hands.

We pulled up our sleeves and dove head first into learning and teaching ourselves how to move and build walls, build a bathroom, tile, install windows and even build a front porch. It was one heck of an adventure.

And then it was done… it felt like our adventure was over.

Little did I know, it was just getting started…

Listen and follow along as we dive into life’s next adventure!
